• Fresno State and Boise State will square off for the right to be called Mountain West Champion on Saturday. The Bulldogs are participating as the West Division representative for the third time while the Broncos are representing the Mountain Division for the second time. These two teams have met once before in the MW title game (2014).
• This is the second time since 1935 that two teams will have faced each other in the regular season finale and their conference championship game (Stanford/UCLA in 2012).
• Saturday's matchup will be the 20th all-time meeting between the Bulldogs and Broncos.
• The Bulldogs, who have compiled a 9-3 record this year, have the nation's best win improvement (+8). There are two teams that have improved its win total by six games (+6).
• Fresno State cracked the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2013, checking in at No. 25. The Bulldogs were 16 votes shy of also breaking into the USA Today Coaches poll.
• Fresno State is undefeated (4-0) on the road this season against MW opponents.
• With a victory over the Broncos on Saturday, the Bulldogs will lock up its ninth double-digit win season in program history.
• QB Marcus McMaryion is the latest Bulldog to be named a MW Player of the Week, he is the fifth "of the week" selection this season for the 'Dogs, but first for the offense as the previous four were DB Juju Hughes, LB George Helmuth and LB Jeffrey Allison (x2).
• If KeeSean Johnson records a reception on Saturday, he will set the program record for consecutive games with a catch, breaking Henry Ellard's record of 34 from 1979-82.
• There are 18 players on the current roster that were on the 2014 MW Championship Game roster - four participated in that game (Da'Mari Scott, Justin Green, Kody Kroening and Nathan Madsen).

Fresno State will take on Boise State in the 2017 Mountain West Football Championship Game on December 2nd at 4:45pm (PT) in Boise, Idaho.
