Ugne Mazutaityte won the 200 Back and led the Bulldogs to a third place finish in the season-opening Chick-Fil-A Invitational, finishing ahead of Washington State, San Jose State, and Air Force

A senior from Kaunas, Lithuania, Mazutaityte touched in 2:01.07 in the 200 Back to place first in a field of 30. She finished ahead of seven swimmers from 2018 NCAA Runner-Up Cal, including 2016 Dutch Olympian Robin Neumann. Her time was the best by a MW swimmer so far this season.

The Fresno State program record holder in the 100 Back, 200 Back, and 100 IM, Mazutatitye took 5th in the 100 Back in the Chick-Fil-A Invitational with the 3rd fastest time in the MW this season. She was also the top Fresno State swimmer in the 200 Free and swam on Fresno State's fastest teams in the 200 Medley Relay, 800 Free Relay, and 400 Medley Relay.
