FRESNO, Calif. - Behind a career-high 15 points from Omelogo Udeze (Fr., Los Angeles, Calif.), the Fresno State Bulldogs breezed past Boston University 83-59 at the North Gym. The Bulldogs improve to 2-2 while the Terriers fall to 2-1.
Three Bulldogs - Udeze, Porsha Boyd (Jr., Carson, Calif.) and Channan High (Fr., Detroit, Mich.) - all established new career-highs for points on the night. Boyd scored nine while High chipped in with 14.
Tiffany Lewis (Sr., Inglewood, Calif.) also had a solid night for Fresno State. She finished with 12 points, eight steals, eight rebounds and six assists. Lindsay Logan (Fr., Sandy, Utah) also helped out with 10 assists, the second consecutive night she has put up double-digits in assists.
Fresno State took control of the game early and never let up, leading 38-23 at half. They kept increasing the lead throughout the second half, leading by as much as 20 with 12 minutes left in the game.
The Bulldogs return to action Tuesday against Sacramento State in the season's lone game at Selland Arena. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
