Women's Basketball Runs Past Sacramento 70-44

Forward Tiffany Lewis (Sr., Inglewood, Calif.) had an outstanding game for Fresno State. She had her second double-double of the year, scoring 20 points and adding 13 rebounds. Forward Omelogo Udeze (Fr., Los Angeles, Calif.) also had a big game for the Bulldogs, racking up 13 boards to go along with her eight points. FS outrebounded the Hornets 48-27.
Porsha Boyd also scored in double figures, putting home a career-high 12.
The Bulldogs played the entire game with only seven players in uniform. Just before the game, forward Channan High was diagnosed with a stress fracture in her left foot. She will be re-evaluated Monday, at which point how long she will be out of action will be disclosed. High is out of Saturday's game against California.
Fresno State returns to action Saturday against the California Golden Bears. Game time is 4 p.m. at the North Gym.
