Game No. 1 ?PNC Bank Wildcat Christmas Classic

--- The 76-68 loss by Fresno State knocks it into the consolation game against Drexel Thu. at 6 p.m. EST. The Dragons were defeated by host Villanova 66-40.
--- Fresno State?s 40 first half points were the most it has scored in the opening 20 minutes this year.
--- Tiffany Simon had an outstanding first half, scoring eight points and notching six rebounds. She finished the game with 10 points and seven rebounds, both career highs.
--- Fresno State and Mt. St. Mary?s were tied 40-40 at halftime despite the Bulldogs outshooting the Mountaineers 61 percent to 44 percent and outrebounding them 22-12.
--- Porsha Boyd fell ill before the game began and did not suit up.
--- The game was Fresno State?s first since Dec. 20 and only its second since Dec. 12. Mt. St. Mary?s faced the same situation, playing its first game since Dec. 11.
--- Channan High returned to action for Fresno State. She played 20 minutes, scoring nine points and adding two rebounds. High had missed the last five games due to a stress fracture in her left foot.
--- FS?s standout forward Tiffany Lewis was plagued by foul trouble the entire night, eventually fouling out of the game with 3:47 left.. She finished the game scoring only nine points, the first time this season she has not scored in double figures in a game. It also broke her consecutive double-double streak at five games.
