Baseball Team Defeats BYU 3-2 In Dramatic Fashion

Fresno, Calif. - While it may have taken the Bulldogs eight innings to get warmed up, but once they did they knew how to take care of business. Fresno State tied Thursdays game in the ninth inning, then scored the winning run in the 10th as it defeated BYU 3-2.
The victory ups the Bulldogs record to 28-26 overall and 9-12 in the Western Athletic Conference. Fresno State is only a half game behind San Diego State for the sixth and final spot in the WAC Tournament, set for May 19-22 at Beiden Field.
BYUs Curtis Rodriguez had the Bulldogs hit less for the first four innings and kept them from scoring until the ninth. While Rodriguez kept the Fresno State bats silent, the Cougar bats hardly made a sound against Bulldog starter Tom Graham.
The Cougars would get a run of the right-hander in the second inning, but after the second BYU would only scatter five hits off Graham. Their second run of the game came courtesy of a Fresno State error as Graham overthrew first ba
