Three Equestrian Riders Place in Second Day of Competition

Cazenovia, Calif. - Three Fresno State equestrian team members received ribbons at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Finals today at Cazenovia College in Cazenovia, N.Y.

Junior Kim Dellar placed seventh in Walk/Trot/Canter while senior Peggy Ram earned a sixth place finish in Intermediate Western Horsemanship. The Bulldogs final placing came in Beginner Western Horsemanship, where sophomore Heather Hogancamp finished eighth.

Out of the arena, three Fresno State riders were honored by the IHSA for their efforts in the classroom. Senior Andrea Lee received the Senior Athletic Academic Achievement Award for keeping a 3.5 GPA while competing on an intercollegiate riding team. Dellar and senior Keri Pilgrim received the IHSA Scholarship Awards for Zone VIII, Region I.
