Bulldogs Triumphant in Four-Team Dual Meet

The Bulldogs swimming and diving team return to Fresno with, yet again, another big victory in the four-team dual meet held at UC Irvine. The ?Dogs defeated the competitive Pepperdine Waves with a spread of 152-87 followed by two more wins against Loyola Marymount (191-32) and meet host UC Irvine (192-64).
The 'Dogs took first in the 400 medley relay (Summir Case, Heather King, Laurel Frisinger, Heidi Crompton) with a time of 3:59.16.
Julie Enright took first in the 1000 free with a Fresno State season-best time of 10:24.50 followed by Rebecca Coplin in second place with her season-best time of 10:28.06. Enright also won the 500 free with a time of 5:07.91.
Jennifer Brown took first in the 200 free with 1:56.57 and Laurel Frisinger won the 200 fly with a time of 2:10.15. Jesie Lewis took first in the 100 free with a time of 53:93 and Bethany Starkweather won the 200 back with a time of 2:10.98. Heidi Olsen summed up the meet in the final individual event winning the 200 breast touching a time of 2:37.78.
The Bulldogs head to San Diego this weekend for a dual meet starting on Saturday at noon.
