San Luis Obispo, Calif.
--- The win was Cal Poly?s first over Fresno State since the 1981-82 season. The Bulldogs had won 12 games in a row over the Mustangs. FS still leads the all-time series 27-11.
--- Although Fresno State shot 54 percent in the first half, it hurt itself with turnovers and fouls. In the game?s first 20 minutes, the Bulldogs committed 15 turnovers and 12 fouls. Two players ? Laura Garcia and Tiffany Lewis ? each had three fouls.
--- The Bulldogs wore their blue uniforms for the first time this season. Until this point, FS had worn red when playing a road or neutral site game.
--- Amanda Baker had a solid first half, shooting 5 of 5 from the field while grabbing three rebounds. She finished with a game-high 17 points and five rebounds.
--- Porsha Boyd had one of the better games of her career. She came off the bench to score 12 points on 4 of 6 shooting, including 2 of 2 from beyond the three-point arc.
--- The second half featured five ties and six lead changes. Fresno State?s biggest lead of the half and of the game was four points. The latest FS had a lead that big came with 5 minutes 29 seconds left after an Amanda Baker three-pointer made it 59-55. After the 18:30 mark of the second half, neither team led by more than four points.
--- Cal Poly finished the game with 15 steals.
--- One of the deciding factors in the game came at the free throw line, where Fresno State shot only 4 of 13 (.308). Cal Poly was 12 of 20 (.600).
--- Several factors in the box score would seem to indicate a FS victory: The Bulldogs made more field goals (28 to 26), shot a higher percentage from the floor (.573 to .433) and had more rebounds (37 to 28) than the Mustangs.
--- For the third time this year, Lindsay Logan played the full 40 minutes. No other Bulldog played over 34.
