FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Courtney Alexander scored a game-high 33 points to lead Fresno State over TCU, 101-96 Thursday night.
Alexander, who went 10-of-12 from the free-throw line, was one of three players for Fresno St. (12-6 overall, 2-0 WAC) who scored more than 20 points.
Terrence Roberson had 27 points, going 7-of-11 from 3-point range. Demetrius Porter scored 23 points, going 5-of-9 from behind the arc.
In all, Alexander, Roberson and Porter accounted for 82 percent of the Bulldogs' scoring.
Larry Abney had a game-high 13 rebounds for Fresno State.
Ryan Carroll led TCU (10-10, 1-3) with 27 points. He was one of five Horned Frogs players scoring in double figures. The others were: Marquise Gainous, who had 22, Derrick Davenport with 13, Thomas McTyer with 12, and Bingo Merriex with 11.
Davenport was TCU's top rebounder with 11.
