GAME NOTES
--- The 75-60 win by Tulsa gives it a 2-1 advantage in the all-time series. The game was the first time a Bulldogs squad played against the Golden Hurricane under coach Britt King.
--- After a one-game absence from the starting lineup, Amanda Baker was back on the court for the opening tip-off. However, Laura Garcia's ankle injury, which she aggravated during the loss at Rice, kept her out of the starting lineup and limited her to only 11 minutes.
--- The skies were not too friendly to Fresno State on its way to Tulsa. The team was scheduled to arrive yesterday at 2:20 p.m., but bad weather and mechanical problems with the plane FS was to take made that impossible. After a seven-hour delay at Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport, the Bulldogs didn't get in to Tulsa until 9:15 p.m. After gathering their bags, the team proceeded directly to the Reynolds Center for a 90-minute shootaround. They didn't arrive at the team hotel until 11:45 p.m.
--- Neither team shot particularly well in the first half. Tulsa shot 39 percent (12 of 31) while the Bulldogs struggled to a 33 percent (10 of 30) half. FS didn't help themselves with turnovers either, committing 18 in the opening 20 minutes on their way to a season-high 35.
--- The turning point in the game occurred when Tiffany Lewis picked up her fourth foul with 13:02 left in the second half. The Bulldogs were ahead 37-36 at the time. Lewis, who had 10 points and eight rebounds when she picked up her fourth, left the game, at which point Tulsa went on a 14-0 run over the next 2:38 to take a 51-37 lead. FS eventually whittled the lead down to four with 5:55 left, but turnovers by Fresno State combined with solid outside shooting by Tulsa ended up as the difference.
--- For only the second time this season, the Bulldogs wore their blue road uniforms.
--- The game featured a matchup of FS's Lindsay Logan and TU's Tammy Goyne, who came in one-two in the WAC in assists. Logan finished the game with five points and six assists. Goyne had nine points and eight assists.
--- With 17:34 remaining in the second half, Omelogo Udeze pulled up from 20 feet and buried a jumper for her first career three-pointer. It was only her second three-point attempt of the season.
--- With 15 minutes remaining in the first half, Laura Garcia replaced Lindsay Logan, ending her consecutive minutes played streak at 195. She had not come out of a game since Jan. 8 against Saint Mary's.
--- The game was played at Tulsa's new basketball arena, the Reynolds Center. The facility will be the site of the 2001 WAC Championships.
