"The morning session was a dog fight," said assistant coach Matt Brown. "We exchanged leads with Wyoming at least three times but our relay and our milers scored big for us and we held onto second place. That success gave us at least a 30 point lead over Wyoming into the evening session. We continued to add to our score in the evening session as the team was scoring high in every event raced. We swam a great meet this weekend and had a very good performance against New Mexico. This team swam with a lot of heart and we were very pleased with their contributions."
