Feb. 11, 2000 PHOENIX, Ariz. - Thanks to the long ball, No. 3 Fresno State made it two in a row on the first day of the ASU Fiesta Bowl. Taking a 2-0 lead into the third before Mississippi State evened the score, Fresno State was down to its last half of the inning. So. DP Kristen Hunter led the bottom of the 7th off with a ground rule double. So. 3B Lindsay Fossatti then cracked her first home run on the year and second of her career to propel the Bulldogs to a 4-2 win. Hunter was the starting pitcher (3.1 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 K) but was relieved by senior RHP Amanda Scott in the top of the 4th. With the game tied and a runner on first, Scott finished the game with a one-hit, five strikeout performance for her second victory i
