Todd Rose Earns WAC Golfer of the Week Honors

FRESNO, Calif. - Bulldog senior and native of Fresno, Calif. Todd Rose was chosen as WAC golfer of the week for his fourth place performance at the 24-team Taylor Made Intercollegiate in Honolulu, Hawai'i this past weekend. Rose shot a 54-hole total of 214, one-under-par with a low round of 69.
Rose was competing against several individuals from top ranked schools such as No. 1 Georgia Tech, No. 5 Arizona State, No. 6 Stanford and No. 15 USC as he earned his fifth top ten finish for the season, his 3rd top five career finish. Rose now has 11 top 20 career finishes. Rose is averaging 71.5 strokes per round in 18 rounds.
This Fall Rose beat his career low round scoring a 66 in the third round of the Fresno Lexus Classic and placing eighth in the tournament.
Rose transferred to Fresno State his junior year from Arizona where he competed in a total of 25 tournaments. Rose graduated from Clovis West high school.
