--- Amanda Baker had a huge game, scoring 31 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, both career highs. It marked the second consecutive game she has racked up a double-double. Her 31 points led the team in scoring, the eighth time this year she has done so but the first in which she led in a game the Bulldogs have won.
--- Several players picked up career highs on the night. Porsha Boyd had a career high in assists with four. Tiffany Simon had career highs in rebounds (8) and assists (4) and tied a career high in points (13). Also tying a career high was Channan High, who had 10 rebounds.
--- Fresno State now has nine wins on the season, tying its total for all of last year.
--- Every Bulldog had at least one point, rebound and assist.
--- FS was dominating on the glass, outrebounding the Spartans 51-30 and setting a season-high for rebounds in a game. Three players had 10 or more rebounds - Amanda Baker (12), Tiffany Lewis (10) and Channan High (10). The Bulldogs also had an amazing assist-to-field goal ratio. FS dished out an assist on 28 of their 36 made shots.
--- The Bulldogs' 44 points was the most points they have scored in the opening 20 minutes of a game this year.
--- Seven of Fresno State's nine victories have come at home.
--- In addition to Amanda Baker's career highs on the evening, she tied a school record for field goals in a game with 15. Even more staggering about the 31 points is this: She did not attempt a free throw on the evening.
--- The game was played at a high level. Fresno State committed only 15 turnovers, its second-lowest total of the season. San Jose State was even better, committing just 10.
