Fresno State improved to 2-0 in the NFCA Leadoff Classic with a 9-1 (5 inn.) mercy-run rule game over Harvard early afternoon. The Bulldogs exploded for nine runs on 13 hits and committed one error while the Crimson scored one run on five hits and endured five errors. Fr. RHP Lindsay Foster made her collegiate debut for the Bulldogs and tossed a two-hitter while give up one run (unearned), two walks and struck out three for her first collegiate win. Fresno State scored four runs in the first, three in the second and added one in the third and fifth inning to seal the game for its fourth mercy-run rule game on the year. Jr. CF Becky Witt went 3-4 with three runs.
