Sept. 2, 2000 FAIRFAX, Va. - Fresno State continued its winning ways on the road after posting its third consecutive four-game victory on the second day of the Brion's Grille/Patriot Invitational in Fairfax, Va. The Bulldogs came back from a 0-1 deficit and claimed the next three games en route to a 3-15, 15-4, 15-10 and 15-10 win over Maryland-Baltimore County. In the match, Fresno State had three Bulldogs post double-figure kills and two others who collected 10+ digs in the first meeting ever against the Retrievers. Junior middle blocker Shauna McQuaid collected her third straight 10-plus kill match after notching a match-high 15 kills while adding a match-high four total blocks. Sophomore middle blocker Lindsay Closs added 14 kills and hit .400 (14-4-25) to tie for match-high honors. Freshman outside hitter
