Q: If you had a Saturday that you didn't have to golf, what would you do?
A: I would probably study in the morning and then watch the Fresno State football game. After that I would take my girlfriend out for dinner and a movie.
Q: Study? On a Saturday?
A: Even if I don't want to, my mind tells me I have to do stuff. I don't let myself slack. It's hard to balance both. I have to set time aside to study, practice and keep my sanity.
Q: What are you majoring in?
A: Finance
Q: Why did you choose Finance?
A: I started to get into business stuff like the the market and maximizing money. I want to help people with their finances individually.
Q: How long have you been playing golf?
A: I've been playing since I was seven. When I was 12, my dad dropped me off at the golf course on his way to work.
Q: Would you play by yourself?
A: No, when you are that young, you just join up with whoever is playing there.
Q: When did you start playing competitively?
A: I started competing on my high school golf team.
Q: Do you admire any pro golfers?
A: I'm a fan of pro golf. I appreciate how good they are. There are so many great golfers out there.
Q: What are the expectations that you've set for your self on the team?
A: Nick and Jon are very highly thought of. I respect their playing. If I can keep up with them, I'll be alright. I also learned a lot from Ryan King, Dan Paniccia, and Todd Rose. I know Nick and Jon did.
Q: Do you play any other sports?
A: I was on my high school's basketball team. My dad was the varsity football and basketball coach.
