Riders Bring Home Reserve Championship Title

FRESNO, Calif.- The 2002-03 Equestrian team finished their first show held at Stanford. Fresno State took the title of Reserve Champion with a score of 27 points.
Individually, the 'Dogs flourished. Kathryn Frost took fourth in Open Fences, Dawn McIntosh placed in seventh in the Intermediate Fences and fourth in Open Equitation on Flat, Pam Cullip took fourth in Novice Fences, Sarah Holmes captured second in the Advanced Walk-Trot, Danielle Golden took fifth in the Section A of Advanced Walk-Trot, Erin Saunders took fifth in Section B Advanced Walk-Trot, Amber Jones ran away with first in the Walk-Trot, Michilah Anglin took second in Beginning Walk-Trot, Amanda Hancock captured first in Intermediate Equitation, while Shannon Morrison took third, Amanda Smith took first in Section A of Novice Equitation, while Julia Scrivani took third, Christina Brown took fifth, Ashley Owens took first in Section B of Novice Equitation, and Emily Brown took second.
The 'Dogs next competition will be Sat.-Sun., Nov. 9-10 hosted by Cal Poly.
