Diving Completes Three-Day NCAA Zone Championships

PALO ALTO, Calif. - The Fresno State diving team completed its three-day competition at Stanford on Saturday, March 16, at the NCAA "Zone E" Championships. The Bulldogs ended the event by placing 23rd and 24th respectively in the platform.
Sophomore Nicole Recupito finished 23rd with a score of 224.40, while freshman Lindsey Paulekas followed in 24th place with a tally of 199.20. Previously on Friday, the Bulldogs competed in the 3-meter. In this event, freshman Ashleigh Raley topped all Bulldog performances with a 30th place finish and 205.85 points. Paulekas was 37th with a score of 185.85, while Recupito ranked 41st at 180.10 among the 47 competitors.
The Bulldogs unfortunately did not qualify to advance on to the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas, March 21-23.
