Football Kickoff Dinner Set for Aug. 17

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State's annual Football Kickoff Dinner has been set for Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Convention Center Exhibit Hall.
Cost for the night is $30 and includes dinner and a complimentary dinner wine. There is also a no-host bar. The social begins at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
Children 17-years-old and younger can meet Fresno State players, have their complimentary poster signed by the Bulldogs and practice their field goals and passes in the new Kids End Zone area. A reduced-price dinner ticket ($15) is available for kids.
Vince Wesson will serve as the master of ceremonies. Highlights from the 2002 season will be presented on movie screens, and the team's academic achievers and the Bulldog Foundation Lifetime Achievement honoree will be recognized.
Table assignments will be made by the date the paid reservation is received. If dinner guests wish to sit at the same table, their paid reservations should be mailed together. Table reservations may be reserved for parties of 10 or 11.

Fresno State opens the 2003 season Aug. 30 at Tennessee. The home opener is Sept. 5 against Oregon State at 7 p.m.
