The Fresno State Diamond Club and a select group of local auto dealers have teamed up for the "New and Used Vehicles Giant Tent Sale," which will be held in Clovis, Calif., Sept. 12-14 at 1600 Willow Avenue (off Shaw Ave., behind Home Depot).
With five dealers at one location and 1,500 vehicles to choose from, the Clovis Auto Row will be open Fri., Sept. 12, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Sat., Sept. 13, from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; and Sun., Sept. 14, from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Six local credit unions will be on site for financing assistance as well as financial assistance through the various dealerships.
For every vehicle sold, the Clovis Auto Row Dealers will make a donation to the Fresno State softball team. Dealerships participating include University Acura, Hedrick's Hallowell Chevrolet, Bingham Toyota, Future Ford and Fresno Isuzu.
The following weekend, the Diamond Club will host the 14th Annual Diamond Club Golf Tournament, on Sat., Sept. 20, at the Madera Public Golf Course.
With shotgun starting at 8:00 a.m., the format will be a "schramble" set up (everyone tees off and the best drive is selected, from that point on you play own ball into the hole). Entry fee is $100 ($50 for green fee, tournament fee, golf cart, small bucket of balls, drinks, lunch and tee prizes while remaining $50 is a tax-deductible donation). If interested in being a tee sponsor, the cost is $100.
