RUSTON, La. (AP) - Trina Frierson scored 26 points to lift No. 8 Louisiana Tech to an 81-59 victory over Fresno State on Saturday night.
The Lady Techsters (9-2, 2-1 WAC) won their 88th consecutive conference home game and boosted their all-time record in that category to 110-2. Tech also has won 153 straight home games against unranked opponents.
Frierson hit 11 of 17 field goals and went 4-of-4 on free throws. Also in double digits for Tech were Amisha Carter with 14 points, Amber Obaze with 12 and Lakiste Barkus with 11.
Fresno State (7-7, 1-3) was led by Jasmine Plummer with 15 points. Cophie Moore added 12, and Aritta Lane 10.
The Bulldogs outrebounded Tech 41-30, with Mindy Clark grabbing nine rebounds.
