Senior Holly Cornell (76-79-80) dropped to a 36th-place tie after shooting 80 for a total of 235 and junior Adrianna Chico (80-81-77), who remained tied for 50th, was three strokes behind with 238. Junior Yumi Chung's (83-80-77 - 240) third round was her best of the tournament, as she shot 77 to move from 74th to tie for 55th place.
"The team really fought it out today," head coach Angie Cates said. "The girls were tough when they needed to be tough. We are leaving this course feeling very good about our game and look forward to returning for WAC Championships in April."
Fresno State returns to action Oct. 18-19 when it competes in the Lady Aztec Fall Classic in San Diego.
