BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Fresno State (299-298-311-908) competed Monday and Tuesday in the Elco, Inc., CSUB Fall Invitational, hosted at the par 72 Bakersfield Country Club, finishing 15th in the 17-team field. Hawaii-Hilo (286-278-294) captured the team title with 858, followed by host Cal State Bakersfield (286-293-295) with 874.
Junior Brian Kelley (71-72-73) led the 'Dogs in a tie for 11th after notching a 211 total and junior Ryan McDonald (73-76-73) tied for 30th with 222. Freshman Keith Berry (80-75-80) and junior Gunnar Avinelis (75-75-80) tied for 81st after carding totals of 235.
Fresno State returns to action Oct. 25-26 as it competes in the Barona Collegiate Cup, hosted by San Diego State, in Lakeside, Calif.
