Women's Golf Finishes 11th At Kent Youel Invitational

KAPOLEI, Hawaii - Fresno State (310-311-318-939) (+75) finished 11th in the 15-team field competing at the Kent Youel Invitational, hosted by Hawaii at the par 72 Kapolei Golf Course. UCLA captured the title with 859 (-5), follwed by Arizona State with 878 (+14).
Freshman Laura Luethke (78-76-72-226) climbed from 40th after improving her second round total by four strokes, shooting even for a 10-over total and a tie for 25th. Junior Adrianna Chico (76-77-81) (+18) dropped from 36th to tie for 47th after carding a third-round 81 for a 234 total and junior Meggie Fagundes (76-80-84) (+24) notched a 240 total to tie for 57th after beginning the day in 48th.
Sophomore Brittany Cooley (86-78-81-245) (+29) shot nine-over her final round to place 68th and senior Holly Cornell (80-84-84-248) (+32) dropped to tie for 70th after shooting 84.
The Bulldogs return to action Nov. 8-9 when they compete at the Sports and Wellness Invitational, hosted by Cal Poly.
