| Richard Marshall's big week in Fresno State's victory over Rice earned him gobulldogs.com Athlete of the Week honors for Nov. 1-7. Marshall ended up with six tackles, including one for loss. But it was when the sophomore intercepted a Joey Armstrong pass that he turned heads. Marshall wrote his name all over the Fresno State record book when he picked off a pass at the goalline and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown, just one of the Bulldogs' seven scores during a 52-21 win over the Owls. It was Marshall's second INT return for a TD this year (tying a program record) and third of his career (setting a new program record). In his career, Marshall has six interceptions and has racked up 285 return yards for an amazing 47.5 average.
