Equestrian Claims High Point Title At Double English Show

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Fresno State captured the high point team title for both English shows hosted by Cal Poly, Nov. 13, with UC Davis claiming reserve champion for both shows. The Bulldogs garnered a combined five first-place finishes for both events.
The first show marked three firsts, with sophomore Morgan McDonald claiming the title in Open Equitation Over Fences, junior Becky Legris championing Intermediate Equitation on the Flat and junior Stacey Jo McCalmont capturing first in Walk-Trot Equitation on the Flat.
The Bulldogs' additional top finishes came in the second show, with sophomore Shannon Ragsdale winning Novice Equitation on the Flat and sophomore Jackie Alewyn claiming the title in Beginning Walk-Trot-Canter.
Fresno State returns to action Nov. 20 when it hosts its first home show of the season - an English and Western show - at the Student Horse Center, located on campus.
