| Mustafa Al-Sayyad scored 19 points and added 11 rebounds to lead Fresno State past East Tennessee State 90-73 on Nov. 27, his exploits earning him the Toyota/gobulldogs.com Athlete of the Week. A senior center, Al-Sayyad notched his sixth career double-double and was the cornerstone in the Bulldogs' 17-point road win over the Buccaneers, who have played in the last two NCAA Tournaments and are a heavy favorite to do so again this year. Al-Sayyad also chipped in an assist and a block for Fresno State, which through two games is averaging a league-best 86.5 points per game, a far cry from last year when the Bulldogs were one of the lowest scoring teams in the WAC. "Moose" was one of four players in double figures against ETSU.
