FRESNO, Calif.- Fresno State head women's basketball coach Stacy Johnson-Klein has announced that sophomore forward Lauren Selmon (Norman, Okla.) has left the team due to personal reasons.
"Lauren is a very special player who is dear to me and our coaching staff," Johnson-Klein said. "I have known Lauren a very long time and wish her nothing but the best of luck. I truly believe she will continue to be a tremendous asset to Fresno State as she continues to pursue her education and graduate with a degree."
The 5-11 forward played in 20 of the team's 26 games this season. Selmon, who made her only Bulldog start in the team's season opener at Washington State, averaged 3.9 ppg and 1.6 rpg. Selmon scored a season-high 13 points in Fresno State's 88-56 victory over Louisiana-Monroe on Nov. 28.
