FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State (315-314-321) ended the Kent Youel Invitational in a tie for ninth place with a 950 total. USC won the team title with 896, Stanford placed second with 902, and Long Beach State came in third with 907.
Freshman Laura Luethke carded rounds of 77-76-78 to lead the Bulldogs and finish in a tie for 18th with a 231 total. Senior Adrianna Chico (75-76-85) finished 35th with 236, and freshman Jennifer Shipley placed 57th with rounds of 81-79-81 - 241. Freshman Taylor Siebert (82-83-82) came in 72nd with a 247 total, while senior Meggie Fagundes (86-88-80) ended in 91st with 254.
This tournament marks Fresno State's final competition for the fall season. The team returns to action Feb. 27-28 when it hosts the Fresno State Invitational at Copper River Country Club.
