| Junior guard Paige Diggs has been named the Toyota/www.gobulldogs.com student-athlete of the week for Nov. 21. The honor is the first for Diggs and the first for a women's basketball player this year. In Fresno State's 93-84 win over UC Irvine in the season-opener, Diggs contributed to a well-rounded Bulldog offensive attack with a career-high 18 points. She was 12-13 from the free throw line and also pulled down seven rebounds. Diggs played a team-high 34 minutes in her first start at guard since her freshman year. Also nominated: Alison Pitton (volleyball), Paul Pinegar (football), Cody Parker (wrestling), Sarah Dowlearn (equestrian).
