| Freshman Beau Mills has been selected as the Toyota/www.gobulldogs.com Athlete of the Week for the week of March 14-20. Mills, a third baseman from Golden West High School in Visalia, Calif., led the Bulldogs to a series win over Iona, taking three games out of four. Mills hit .600 for the series, including two homeruns, three doubles, and 7 RBI. The best game for Mills was in the nightcap on Friday, March 18, when he went 5-for-5 with a walk, two doubles and a home run driving in four runs. Mills also scored six runs in that game, joining only two other Bulldogs in history ever to reach that mark. The Athlete of the Week honor is the first of the year for a baseball player, and is also the first of Mills' career.
