FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State (325-310-319 - 954) finished the Wolf Pack Invitational in fourth place Wednesday and placed three golfers in the top 25. San Jose State claimed the team title with 913, Nevada placed second with 938 and Boise State came in third with 947.
Leading the Bulldogs, sophomore Laura Luethke (78-77-77 - 232) shot another 77 to tie for fifth. Freshman Taylor Siebert tied for 11th with rounds of 83-77-78 - 238, and freshman Jennifer Shipley (83-77-82 - 242) came in 24th after posting a third-round 82. Senior Meggie Fagundes tied for 31st with rounds of 81-79-86 - 246, and senior Yumi Chung (87-81-82 - 250) placed 43rd.
No player finished a round under par on the challenging D'Andrea Golf Course. Boise State's Katie Street won the individual title with a 10-over 223.
Fresno State next plays in the Heather Farr/University of Colorado Memorial Oct. 3-4 at Omni Interlocken Golf Club in Broomfield, Colo.
