The honor is the second of the year for Hosley, as he was also the recipient of the award on Dec. 5. Hosley helped the Bulldogs to a 1-1 home record last week as well as guided the team to a 4-1 home court mark during its five-game homestand. Against Iona, Hosley had 16 points and a game-high 13 rebounds against Iona College and made his WAC debut against Utah State and responded with 25 points and 17 rebound. In the WAC opener, he played in 41 minutes while going 10-16 from the line and collected a game-high 17 rebounds. Hosley sent the game into the second overtime by rebounding Kevin Bell's missed layup and dunking it with 6.8 seconds left. He then scored the first 10 points of the second overtime. The 17 rebounds over the Aggies was a new Save Mart Center record as he recorded his seventh 20-point game of the season against Utah State. On the season Hosley has 12 straight double figure games.
