Head Coach Steve Cleveland
"We put ourselves in a position to win the game, but it didn't happen," Cleveland said. "It was a tale of two halves. We started so poorly and dug ourselves a hole in the first half. We need to learn from this. We competed to the end but we didn't take care of business."
"We were trying to get the ball to Dominic on the block," Cleveland said of the last play. "But that execution didn't happen."
"Dominic really attacked the basket. He played very well and he took over the game," Cleveland said.
Junior Forward Dominic McGuire
"I wanted to make the first free throw, because I knew the second one would be tough," McGuire said. "I thought I made the second one when it left my hand, but it just didn't go in."
Senior Forward Quinton Hosley
"I look forward to the challenge of guarding bigger guys. They made us work and unfortunately we didn't get the job done," Hosley said. "You have to look at the positives and tonight there was no quitting out there."
