FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State shot a 3-under 281 on Wednesday at the Hawaii-Hilo Intercollegiate to stand in 11th place through one round. No. 2 Georgia Tech currently has the team lead after shooting 268 (-16), while third-ranked Oklahoma State is in second with 272 (-12).
Three Bulldog golfers notched under-par scores. Jason Anthony is tied for 21st with a 2-under 69 (35-34). Jonny Rosa shot 35-35 - 70 (-1) and is tied for 34th with teammate Ryan McDonald (34-36 - 70).
Mark Modglin registered a 1-over 72 (37-35) and stands in 62nd place, while Brian Kelley is in 74th with 39-34 - 73 (+2).
Play at the par-71, 6,777-yard Waikoloa Village Golf Course continues Thursday with 9 a.m. PT tee times.
