Shipley Leads Bulldogs on Day Two of UNLV Spring Invitational

FRESNO, Calif. - Freshman Jennifer Shipley (143) again led Fresno State on day two of UNLV's Spring Invitational, shooting an even-par 72 to move up to a tie for fourth place. Fresno State shot 302 to move to sixth place with a 596 total heading into Wednesday's final round.
Senior Adrianna Chico (149) improved to shoot 73 and is tied for 21st. Sophomore Laura Luethke (151) fell to 34th with a second-round 78, and junior Brittany Cooley (74-79) is in 43rd with 153. Freshman Taylor Siebert is now in 72nd with rounds of 76-82 - 158.
Host UNLV (579) moved to the top of the leaderboard, Long Beach State fell to second with 585 and Campbell is in third with 588. Fresno State is seven strokes behind New Mexico who is in fourth and three strokes behind BYU who stands in fifth.
