| Sophomore Tierre Wilson has been named the Toyota/gobulldogs.com Athlete of the Week for Mar. 21. Wilson, a 5-8 guard from Lawton, Okla., came up with back-to-back impressive outings in two victories for Fresno State in the opening rounds of the Postseason WNIT. In two Bulldog wins, Wilson made 17-26 (65.3-percent) from the field and scored a team-best 19 points in each contest. In a 78-59 win over UC Santa Barbara in the preliminary round, Wilson led all scorers with 19 points on 8-13 shooting while pulling down five boards and collecting three steals off the bench. Three days later, she was one of five Bulldog players to score in double-figures in a 77-57 rout of UNLV in the first round. Wilson made 9-13 attempts for 19 points to go along with three rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench. For the season, Wilson ranks fourth on the squad in scoring at 11.4 points per game while snagging 4.3 rebounds per game. She has scored in double-figures in 15 of the 23 games she has appeared in.
