| Sophomore Beau Mills has been selected as the Toyota/www.gobulldogs.com Athlete of the Week for Mar. 29. As part of a three-game sweep of Sacramento State, Mills hit .583 with eight RBI to help the Bulldogs extend their winning streak to 15 games. During the week, Mills had three doubles and a three-run home run on Saturday to help the Bulldogs to the win. In addition, Mills was named WAC Player of the Week for his efforts. This is the second honor for a Bulldog baseball player this season. Starting pitcher Andy Underwood was also previously given the award. Also nominated: Heidi Smith (equestrian), Charles Irie (men's tennis), Jon Rosa (men's golf), Laura Luethke (women's golf), Mallory Webb (women's track and field), Brian Vazquez (men's track and field), Haley Perkins (softball).
