FRESNO, Calif. - Laura Luethke's 75 (+3) on Monday at the Spartan Invitational helped Fresno State (313) to third place after 18 holes of play. Three Bulldogs stand in the top 15 in the 58-player field heading into Tuesday's final round.
Luethke is tied for fourth place with Jee Hyiun Park of UC Davis. Freshmen Jennifer Shipley and Taylor Siebert both carded rounds of 78 and are tied for 11th. Meggie Fagundes shot an 82 to stand tied for 34th, while Adrianna Chico is tied for 45th after shooting an 85.
Host San Jose State and San Francisco are tied for first place with 309, four strokes ahead of the Bulldogs.
Play at the par-72 Hill Course at Castlewood Country Club continues Tuesday.
