FRESNO, Calif. - The Bulldog Foundation at Fresno State will begin its 56th annual fund drive on Thursday, April 6. The Annual BDF Fund Drive is designed to raise scholarship dollars for Bulldog student-athletes for all 17 sports.
The Bulldog Foundation Fund Drive is led by volunteers, whose dedication and determination are recognized nationally. The fund drive is a vital component for funding for the athletics department and the BDF members are recognized as the "team behind the teams" at Fresno State.
As part of the 2006 BDF Fund Drive, several new options are available including great new seating availability in Bulldog Stadium, reduced membership for those between the ages of 21-39, the addition of "Bullpup" memberships and the reduction of five former giving levels.
Three new 30% reduced memberships are being offered to interested donors 21-to-39 years of age. Current Gridiron, Slam Dunk and Bronze memberships at same ages qualify for the discount if they enroll a new member at the Gridiron level or higher.
Now available for the 2006 football season are great seats available close to the field between the 35 yard lines in Bulldog Stadium. Those sections, 30-32, are open to current or new BDF members, Green V Society members or new scholarship fund members at the Silver level or higher. Seating in those sections are the most comfortable bench seats in Bulldog Stadium, each with a cushioned seat and chair back.
The new "Bullpups" level is a combination of the former Sweeney 200 and Wright Place memberships, offering youth tickets for football or softball. Now a $200 donor can designate any sport, including men's basketball, for which two tickets will donated to youth groups.
