Fresno State Improves By 22 Strokes at Peg Bernard Invitational

FRESNO, Calif. - Laura Luethke captured her fifth top-10 finish of the year Sunday at the Peg Bernard Invitational and helped Fresno State (328-306) improve by 22 strokes in the final round.
Luethke's 76-71 - 147 was good for seventh place. Taylor Siebert came in 56th with 81-78 - 159. Adrianna Chico (84-80) and Brittany Cooley (87-77) tied for 71st with 164. Marissa Patterson (80th) shot another 91 to end with 182.
Fresno State (634) finished 14th.
USC took the team and individual titles. The Trojans had an overall score of 588, while Irene Cho won by six strokes with 137.
The Bulldogs now prepare for the WAC Championship, which is being hosted by San Jose State April 24-26.
