Head Coach Steve Cleveland
"Wow, what a college basketball game tonight," Cleveland said. "This was a big game for us. The team played with great emotion and showed the heart it needed to win at the end."
"Before the free throws I told KB to push the ball if he misses and try to get to the rim," Cleveland said. "If he would have made both, I told KB to push the ball and look to kick it out for a 3-pointer."
Junior Guard Kevin Bell
"I'm not sure if I've ever been carried off the court like that," Bell said. "It was great to see the fans so excited. That was a big win for us tonight."
"I told Q before the free throws, that if he misses I'm going to try and get to the rim, so be ready in case I miss or it gets blocked," Bell said. "But my guy started to sag off me and I pulled up for a jumper. It was a great feeling."
