FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's golf team(299/+11) is tied for 11th place out of 18 teams at the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev. After round one of three BYU (-8) is leading followed by New Mexico (-4). Indiana (-3) is in third and New Mexico State (+3) is in fourth.
Sophomore Jennifer Shipley is leading the `Dogs after a round of 71 to finish 1-underin a tie for 10th place. Laura Luethke, Taylor Siebert and Tiffany Veerkamp are all tied for 50th with a score of 76/+4. Brittany Cooley shot a 78 to finish tied for 71st.
Individually Rachel Newren of BYU is in the lead shooting 5-under.
