Club Red Involves Former Bulldog Athletes

FRESNO, Calif. - The Bulldog Foundation is reaching out to former Fresno State Student-Athletes through the introduction of Club Red. The organization formerly known as "Varsity F" is being transitioned into Club Red, an organization for all former Fresno State Student-Athletes.
The mission of Club Red is to keep former Bulldog Student-Athletes involved with Fresno State athletics.
The vision of Club Red wishes to honor the past success of Fresno State Student-Athletes by continuing the legacy, tradition, and values experienced from participating in intercollegiate athletics.
Club Red has already hosted tailgate parties prior to the Wisconsin and Hawai'i football games. The final tailgate activity is this Saturday when the Bulldogs take on Idaho at 7 p.m. The tailgate begins three-hours prior to kickoff in the first base concourse at Beiden Field. Former student-athletes planning to attend should e-mail Andrea Alires at clubred@csufresno.edu. Also, a limited number of tickets for former letter-winners are available at a discounted rate for the remaining home football games. "Join the State - Fresno State!" - The Fresno State football team plays it annual Homecoming game on Saturday, October 11 as they host Idaho at 7 p.m. Fresno State Athletics along with Fresno State Department of Management, Community Food Bank and Sierra Pacific Orthopedic and Spine Center have teamed up for the second annual food drive. Fans are asked to bring non-perishable food items to the game. Collection barrels will be located in parking lots and outside each stadium entrance.
