`Dogs and Aggies Meet on Saturday

FRESNO, Calif. - Head volleyball coach Lauren Netherby-Sewell and the Bulldog volleyball team invites the Utah State Aggies to the Save Mart Center on Saturday for a 7 p.m. Western Athletic Conference match. The game can be viewed live on Comcast Local 14 and can be heard live as well on 790 ESPN Radio the Deuce.
Fresno State is 5-12 on the year and 2-6 in WAC play after falling to Nevada on Thursday, 3-1. Utah State is tied for fourth in the conference standings at 4-4 and 6-13 overall. The Bulldogs defeated the Aggies for their second WAC win of the season, 3-2, back on Sept. 25 in Logan, Utah.
"After a heartbreaking loss in Reno, we look forward to our next shot at a win this week," said Netherby-Sewell. "We're playing better and better every match. We had a tight win against Utah State weeks ago, and they sit in fourth place in conference standings. Saturday is a chance to make a statement and shake up conference."
Saturday is Youth Volleyball Night. All youth eight grade and younger get in for just $2. It's also autograph night. Head to the west concourse of the Save Mart Center after the match to get autographs from your favorite Bulldog volleyball student-athletes.
"Join the State - Fresno State!" - The `Dogs welcome Utah State to the Save Mart Center on Saturday, October 18 for a 7 p.m. match. It's Youth Volleyball Night and all youth volleyball teams 8th grade and under receive $2 admission to the match when wearing their team uniforms.
