Angel leads `Dogs After Two Rounds

FRESNO, Calif.- Todd Angel is leading the `Dogs at the Sycuan Collegiate Invitational. Angel is currently tied for 46th place and guided his team 12th place of 20 teams today.
Fresno State (289-277-580) finished the day at four-over par and 22 strokes out of first place.
"We are playing pretty steady," said Mike Watney. "Hopefully we have a solid final round to help move us up the leaderboard."
Grant Doverspike (74-71-145/+1), Matt Ryan (72-73-145/+1) and Brian Sunker (76-69-145/+1) are all tied for 53rd place shooting a two round total of 145. Brian Sunker shot a low second round of 69 today to move up in the standings. Bryan Hogan and Michael Gideon shot identical scores of 73 and 74 to finish the day tied for 73rd.
The host team, San Diego State (550) is in first, shooting a low second round of 274 to help them hold on to the first place spot by six strokes. Colorado State (556) is currently in second place and Denver is in third shooting 15-under par.
Dustin Garza of Wichita State is leading after shooting a total of 132.
