FRESNO, Calif. - Angie DiLiddo was named the 11th recipient of the Bulldog Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award.
"Angie DiLiddo has given extraordinary volunteer service and commitment to the Bulldog Foundation, the University and Fresno State athletics and is very deserving of the Lifetime Achievement honor," said Pat Ogle, Executive Director of the Bulldog Foundation.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is given to individuals who have volunteered at least 25 hours, fundraised at least half a million dollars, and served in a leadership capacity within the foundation.
Angie has blazed quite a trail in the Bulldog Foundation from being the first woman President to being in the top three as a volunteer for many fund drives.
DiLiddo has raised 1.5-million-dollars in donations that have funded 222 student-athlete scholarships. She also continues to assist with the selling and servicing of priority seating in Bulldog athletics.
"As with almost every step she has taken with the Bulldog Foundation, she has been the first woman to accomplish the result and on behalf of all Bulldog Foundation members, volunteers, trustees and staff we thank her for being number one," said Ogle.
In her three decades of involvement with Fresno State and Bulldog athletics, Angie says she is most proud of the fact her two children and a grandchild graduated from the university and has another grandchild attending Fresno State.
