Promotion Spreads Holiday Cheer

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State and promotion sponsor Supercuts announced Mary Lynn Herron the grand prize winner of the "50 Winners in 50 Days" giveaway. Herron won a $2500 Bulldog Shop shopping Spree.
The prize came at a great time for Herron, who was laid off from her teaching job and she didn't know what she was going to do for presents during the holiday season.
"It was a beautiful gift for us," said Herron. "It was a big and exciting event and we had fun buying gifts."
Herron entered the contest in hopes of winning tickets to a game. The Herron family is proud to wear Bulldog gear this holiday season. The Supercuts "50 Winners in 50 Days" promotion awarded a prize package to one person daily from fans that registered at Fresno-Area Supercuts locations, during all 50 days of the promotion. In addition, there were weekly prizes awarded.
Herron and her family were on their way to her mother-in-law's funeral when she was notified that she was the grand prize winner. She thought that relatives were playing a practical joke on her.
Both, Herron and her husband are Fresno State alums and big fans of Fresno State athletics.
"This gift has re-inspired us to finish our masters' at Fresno State," said Herron.

"Join the State - Fresno State!" - The Fresno State Softball team kicks off the 2009 season on Thursday, February 26 as they host Utah Valley University.
